Sithspawn

I have seen the word "Sithspawn" in several SW novels. Is that the SW equivalent of Sh@# or da%# and other swear words, or is it just like "Oh dang" or other loss offending words? And who uses them and when? Is it like just NJO jedi or is it Sith wars and beyond? Thanks

 

Merely an expletive. For the sheer fun of it, I formulated my own original ones to see how long people around me would also pick on it.

Probably the SW equilivalent of referring to Satan or the everlasting tropics.

 

Kinda like saying, "what in the devil is that"

The word also refers to the creatures created by Sith alchemy. The battle hydras on Yavin IV, seen in Champions of the Force and Jedi Academy: Leviathan are one type of sithspawn.

Would Shadowtroopers, Reborn or the Crystalid Beasts also count as Sithspawn?

 

Does anyone have the Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide? I think they might have an official deffinition there...
