With the channels I have, BBC and eurosport I will see the ladies downwhill, maybe some curling(if the BBC have some) and the main event is the biathlon.

wow Jan Michaelis qualified for the Halfpipe final! Jan´s from my hometown Hamburg...well no big deal, except that he does snowboarding and you don´t have any mountains here... everything´s flat here in the north... and we usually don´t have any snow. it is sooooooo cool!

It was, and of course I'm a bit disappointed that Forsberg missed the two shots, but a bronze isn't bad and there are still some more runs left. Germany looks strong for the relay. And if you look at the results the men's relay will be really interesting, three Norwegians, three Russians and three Germans within the first 9.

Yeah.... O.-E. Björndalen, F. Luck and, um...forgot the Russians name... in the first three spots...

Hannawald had a crash or something during qualification... Haven´t seen it though. Just read it on the net...

Haven't seen any olympics today, but I've heard that some estonian guy won the cross country.

I missed the ski jumping, the guys in my house demanded that they had to see the friendly Ireland-Russia in football, what's a friendly when it's the olympics!

You felt a bit sorry for the finns, loosing by 0.1. I'm so happy Slovenia won, it has alwyas been a favourite of mine, since I was 14 and thought that Peterka was the cutest guy in ski jumping. :D

LOL *searching for a picture of Peterka*

Well of course it was a bummer for Finland....but they should be happy that Hautameaki´s crash wasn´t seen by the jury... they could have taken away 7 points...

Yeah, but they would still probably have ended up with a medal.

Anja Parson took bronze in the ladies slalom, yesterday, that was good, but Sweden still doesn't have a gold.

Yeah even if they HAD taken away the 7 points, Finland would have been second....

You should have gotten one in Biathlon...

Well, most of the gold medals were surprising... the athletes we expected to win gold, didn´t --> Georg Hackel, Sven Hannawald...

I guess that's part of the charm with the olympics, that you always get surprising results.

    Welcome back.

I've missed most skiing while you were gone, and now I'm sick so I even forgot to watch the ski jumping from home yesterday!
