Not what you think. But literal Skywalkers seem to play a pivital role in the Saga. Episode 1: The main part of Duel of the Fates takes place upon a Skywalker. Episode 2: Anakin and Padme encounter a dis-engaged Skywalk in the Droid Factory and fall. (Metaphore for their fate. They both fall.) Episode 4: Luke and Leia encounter a dis-engaged SKywalk too in teh Death Star but this time, they find another way across it. (Metaphore for Luke going ABOVE the dark side where his father fell.) Episode 5: The most important part of the ending duel takes place on a Skywalker. Episode 6: Luke and Vader talk on a Skywalker on Endor. At the end, Vader destroys the SKywalk that Luke is on. (The father forcing the son to fall.) And when Luke goes dark side on Vader the broken SKywalker comes into focus as they fight, thus a metaphore for the fallen SKywalker. And then at the very end, when Anakin throws the Emperer down the shaft..We see a completed Skywalker on the left. The SKywalker legacy is finnaly connected and linked and complete. What do you think?
