I decided to post a new topic for whatever I make. Each time I update it, the link to images will be replaced with a link to my site.

I updated my site with a new layout!

Previous updates are on my site.

I think these are fantastic! I like the first one the best; it's very evocative and really captures the sort of asian flair that naboo socialites seem to have.

The design on the dress on the second one is really great. Did you come up with it yourself?

Also, I imagine you'd probably get more responses to your thread if you posted thumbnails of your images instead of just links. A lot of people just tend to blaze through this forum and only click on things that catch their eye.

Thanks, wicktone! And yes, I did come up with a dress myself.

Sky, Great work on those Brian style sabres! I think he's hit his twentieth design... it's cool to see other people picking up his style and making sabres.

Not bad. It has a nice cartoony feel to it that makes it work. ;)

Sky, I really really like the look of your sketch. :)
I always enjoy being able to see sketches that show how an artist 'works' and by seeing your initial reference lines for the head shape it helps me know how your drawing came about. Very cool!

    Keep it up!

Wow!! That's beautiful, SkyWookiee! Awesome "atmospheric" effect: it feels like we're actually flying toward it! Was this PS, or watercolor, or what? Gorgeous!

Very nice--I especially like Qui Gon: a very realistic rendering--his pose is very easy, and it's a good likeness, too. I haven't seen the CW cartoon, but have seen a lot of work that harkens to it--your Obi Wan is right there, style-wise. Have you studied figure drawing? I always ask, when people seem to have a talent for it! :D Nice work!

Not realy, not in my art class, and I couldn't get past the first few pages in Andrew Loomis book. But I guess it came from those famous Polykarbon tutorials.

Indeed. The Qui-Gon is definitely the favorite of mine.

    Excellent job.

If you happen to do requests, I'm always in need of someone doing sketches for roleplaying characters of mine. I always give the artist credit for their works as well. :D

    Japor Snippet and Padawan Braid
I should do more Clone Wars pics - they inspire me! Also, I should do Luke - he's my favourite character, but I have no pictures of him.

I've joined Hyper-Space, a group of SW artists on DeviantArt.

Oh, sad! :_| "Japor Snippet & Padawan Braid" got me misty! Just a very simple and poignant reminder of where Padme and Anakin started, vs. where they ended up... :_| !! I really like the art that "gets me" emotionally, and this piece really does, SkyWookiee--well done!
