SLCFF.com Launches Monday

Well after much slaving away and typing until my fingers hurt..... *drumroll* slcff.com is now finished. I decided to finish the back end stuff first so right now it isn't much to look at. However monday I plan on having the overall look and feel done.

Every active member(those who attend the meetings regularly) who wants it can have a small page with a little blurb on it. As well as a blog. (yes, you'll have to comply with the slcff.com TOS)

There will also be a "members-only" private forum so we can talk about stuff without the entire internet being able to see it.

Those involved on the witchy forum will also have a place to put a bio about their charater. Because the witcy forum is maintained by another enity entirely we'll delegate out the allowing and denying of memberships for that sub-site to Darken.

If you have any ideas/concerns/questions/trolls/comments/flames/etc. please post them to this tread or email them to trollbait@slcff.com

the links to the tfn and witchy boards are all part of the overall look and feel, so they'll be up by monday.

As for membership, to keep everyone and their dog from jumping in and making a mess, the accounts you create from clicking this link will have to be enabled by one of the moderators (Marold, Pounce, or myself). We won't start enabling those accounts until after monday.

ok technically it's still monday. ( I haven't been to sleep yet ) and the layout of slcff.com is basicly done.
there will be a few quirks here and there as we work them out but feel free to jump in and go to town.

I would like to thank Daniel Logan for all the help he has given us with our website. Because of him, from Saturday to Sunday we had over 600 hits on our site. I would also like to thank Ray Park for helping out with is as well.

just so you know. When you post a blog, by default it isn't active for everybody to see. You have to click the draft entries link and then click the publish link for each entry once you are satisified how it looks.

What is a blog?

 

A blog is like a daily event. Or a Journal Entry. You can do one for each day or just when something cool happened.

 

I was afraid to ask the same question, my computor skills are on par with those of an ewok.
