Slight OT - Creating a Universe

    Sorry, that just sorta sounds funny.

    Besides, in a film, you have to have some sort of effect. If going for realism, go with robot drones controlled by people on a control ship. Same effect, almost, and using missiles you can still have flashy visuals.

    Do/How would nuclear weapons work in space? Say I hit a solid mass (enemy ship) with a nuke, what would it do? Also, say I attempt to nuke the same solid mass but say, 1/2 a kilometer away, what would be the effect?

    Not sure, but remember an EMP wave. Not sure on that, but it was used in "HALO: The Fall of Reach" and seemed to make sense.
