Slight problem...

    Ok i recently finished a fight between me and my mates mark, ive been able to colour my saber purple, but for some reason i cannot change the colour of his lightsaber, why is this?

    Need a little bit more info if you want some help! What software are you using? How did you do the lightsabers? and how are you trying to do it?

    Im using after effects 6.0 using the standard method, ive just done some more footage, however both blades appear white, a thought anyone?

    you forgot to add a black solid layer in the back of the saber composition

    or you added the solid but you weren't at the begining of the clip.

    yes and yes, i moved the timeline of my blacksolid to the start and all is now hunky dory, but at the end of my seqeunce it goes to a black screen with the two sabers, anyway of cutting this out?

    I hears ya!
    Meh another problem occurs, when my saber becomes obscured i followed the tutorial yet alls i got was this little black shapen blocking out my saber, any thoughts? (yes i set the mode to subtract)

    Have you set the mode of your mask to subtract, and the mode of your saber comp to screen? Failing that, make sure that your second mask is of the white solid of your saber, not of anything else.
