I don't know if this has been happening to everybody or just me, but since the FanFiction forum was split up, I think somebody made a small mistake in the coding. On the main page (http://boards.theforce.net/default.asp?), under "Your Favourite Boards", it reads " Your Favorite Boards - Got a story to tell in the Star Wars Universe? Share it here with other fan fiction lovers, or just discuss ideas and participate in pass-around stories."

This is clearly the same text that is supposed to apply for FanFiction only.

Would an admin please correct it? Thanks.

The reason that this will happen is dependent on what boards you have on your favourites list.

It's a wierd little bug that we can't fix. The favourites list is sorted ascending by category number, and then alphabetically inside that. So in this specific case, you've got a Fan Fiction board on your list, and as that is the highest category number, their boards are first. For some reason the blurb that is part of that category is listed at the head of the favourites listing. I'll pass that along to IGN.

Currently the two choices we have is keep it along with the glitch it creates, or not have the blurb for the categories. Since we are adding descriptions (albeit extremely slowly) for a reason, we'll just have to live with the problems.

DD, this is in reference to the Fan Fic blurb appearing in the "Favorite Boards" section. Since that doesn't appear when you aren't logged in, it's not the same problem. So where exactly is this blurb appearing when you aren't logged in?

OK I have a screenshot, who do I send it to?

Edit: How will you believe me, if you don't give me an address to send it to?

This is a wierd glitch. I say just get rid of the board descriptions. If you don't know what "Fan Fiction" is, you probably shouldn't be here ;)

That sounds like a decent idea. The only other categories with descriptions are FanForce General and FanForce Europe, and neither of those seem necessary either.

I agree with w_k, after all most of the board names are self-explanatory.
