I'm sure it will be discounted at all the stores. I ain't passing up on this set anyhow.

 

I think the only episode I haven't seen all the way through is the pilot episode...cause I always come in when Clark gets hit by Lex on the bridge

 

Here's some more news reported by the Digital Bits:
"Also today, we have some final details on Warner's upcoming Smallville: The Complete First Season DVD (9/23 - SRP $64.92). The six-disc set will include all 21 episodes from the first season, including the pilot, in anamorphic widescreen video. Extras will include audio commentary on the pilot episode by executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, and pilot director David Nutter. Another commentary with Gough and Millar is available on episode Metamorphosis. Also available will be deleted scenes from two episodes, a storyboard-to-screen featurette for the pilot, an interactive tour of Smallville and DVD-ROM weblinks."

 

Amazon.com has it on preorder for $48.69, so it won't be too bad.
