Smirnoff Ice? Droooooool. And that's all I gotta say about that.

Oh yeah, and at a party last year, the stuff made me wear a smiley-face shaped piñata on my head for a whole hour. (Don't worry, the piñata was empty, except for my head, and sugardust from broken candies).

 

You need Smirnoff to do that?

Smirnoff Ice is very tasty. And since it's not aproprite for heterosexual males to order Zima in a bar, SI is a great substitute.

(can't stand the taste of beer, and kamikazees are a bit expensive, so this is a great alternative)

 

Smirnoff Ice was big in London when I was there a couple of months ago. I like it, but it doesn't really pack much "bang" for the buck.

You shouldn't believe that it is really beer ... because it isn't. It's malt liquor.

Notice the Smirnoff Ice, cleverly concealed in the Coca Cola beverage cup? That was my idea!

 

My wife loves the stuff, even though a six pack costs as much as a 12 pack of bud for me, but, it really doesn't taste like alcohol at all.

 

Mmmm... It tastes like Mike's Hard Lemonade, only colder, fizzier, and yummier.

Here's a neat trick:

Smirnoff Ice makes excellent slushies! Because the water content is higher than most alcoholic drinks, you can just store your bottles in the freezer! Then, on a hot summer day, take them out, let them thaw for about 5 minutes, and voila! Lemon-ice slushy, but with all the vodka goodness of Smirnoff Ice!

The tender at the bar I hang out at came up with a new (to me) concoction. You take a Zima, dump out 2 shots worth, then replace that with 2 shots of your choice of Pucker. Was so good, I'll never drink it again...those things can be dangerous...

Maitais(sp?) are dangerous for me. I had 7 and was never so drunk in my life. Each rink contains 4 shots of liquor. I've drunk 15 drinks more than once and was never as drunk as I was that night with those 7 drinks at the Chinese resteraunt.

 

Smirnoff Ice = good.. Amen to that.
And who the heck in here JUST discovered Kaluha and Coke?!?! Best drink on earth!

 

SWNZ, if you like Black Russians, you should try a White Russian and/or a Blind Russian.

 

Yeah white russians are all good, actually anything russian at the moment seems like a great idea. Bacardi and coke is another of my favourites.

Smirnoff Ice is beer, it even says on the label "flavored beer". Beer is a malt beverage.

This stuff is 5%alcohal, so it is not like it is week compared to other beers.

 

To be honest i've never seen Smirnoff Ice, I don't think they import it into NZ. I'll keep my eye out though, i'd be keen to try.
