there used to be, some "making of" typw stuff floating around on the net. thats where I saw it. I dont know where though. might be tough to find.

but it is out there. somewhere.

and most of their older Star Wars LEGO is also clearanced."

 

And I bet if y'all just wait until january, the prices will be even lower....

 

January is two days away, I can't wait that long. DH needs Elephant Mon, Bloody stump luke, all the Target exclusives, 12" Zam, 12" Imerial, 12" Plo Koon & 12" Super Droid. Then we will start to work on the 2003 collection other then that he has a close to complete set as it is. (thanks to me

 

Zam & Super BD were at K-Mart on Monaco & Evans for $16 last week.

 

SC- Does he have the X-mas 2 pack?

 

I just can't wait until the speeders and the Acklay go for $5.00 a piece. I've seen tons of those everywhere. I'm sure they'll have to clearance the Cantina Sets and the Jedi Arena too.

 

By the way, has anyone seen the Trash Compactor Sets anywhere?

 

I think I saw some at that infamous K-Mart. But I'm not sure, it may have been the Buckingham Target too.

 

At $16.00 a pop I think I'll pass even if I see'em. But my roomate has been asking for them.

 

We have the x-mas 2pack, one to open & play with (I had to see the x-mas card)! Don't have the trash compactor sets, the Ackley or Zam or Super Droid.

It's been so long since I started writing this I forgot what we were discussing. How dare work disturb me!

 

Just ran into talking Yoda at the Glendale Target for $9.00, unfortunatly they only had one......

 

i ahve a question for for those of you that collect the figures. my brother is wondering if you a source for cases for the figures up there. he wants to get a few cases to put his more prized figures in.

I was at the southwest toys 'r us today (Wadsworth & crestline) & I picked up the new luke & speeder. I saw one of the endor trooper with the different face, too. the one without facial hair. they had a couple, but I stashed one in case anybody needs that one. Its a variation. I bought one.

ok, so if you're looking at the star wars stuff, and you look left, you see the power ranger stuff. its on the bottom shelf, far right, behind a box of some power ranger related item.

JKB: To tell you the truth, regarding the cases: If your brother is looking to preserve his collection (aka, store'em), the best thing to do is go to Target, Toys R Us and such and get the boxes the figures come in. After all, these boxes were made for such purpose.

If, on the other hand, he's looking to display them, he can purchase plastic cases from such retailers as TheEarth.com or E-bay from anywhere starting at $0.90/ea. to $1.50/ea. It depends how many you buy and from whom. if you need anymore help on collecting needs, just PM me.

I'll try to take the first two of these to our January meeting.
