Snowed In

Yep. Today is the first Snow Day for us. I actually wanted to go to school, but I can't remember why so it doesn't matter . Any of you guys get cancellations?

 

Yep I did!! Yeah!! I was up at 5:30 watching the news and hoping for no school!! Hehe.

Plus, I have a paper due for English tomorrow and I still have two paragraphs to do, so now I can spend all day editing.

 

That's cool. I have to start a stock project for math.

 

Unfair. We've got slush down here. Slush and rain. I'd rather snow.

 

I got haled on, on the way to the bus. BOO on slush. The south Shore always gets rain or something, it's not fair.

 

No it isn't. Always rain/snow mix which ends up as rain. I'm moving north and west when I move out of here. I love snow.

I hate flood control.

 

Haha!! You all had to go to school and got wet in the process!!

We didn't get much snow but it all turned to ice. We're far enough west that we normally get the snow, but we are always on that damned line when the weathermen predicts the amounts.

 

I got soaked alright. To the bone, and the books. Stupid freezing rain slush stuff.

 

On the way to the buses after school, I was picking people off with snowballs. It was fun, but then everyone got pissed .

 

I hate getting wet. I demand an umbrella!

 

Go and buy one.

 

Oh...poor Bib doesn't like to get wet.

Well, if I buy one it kind of diminishes my demand a little, ya know? I also demand a ride to school everyday, and for Dick Albert to be right for once.

 

I watch Rhode Island's WJAR-10 with weather by Art Lake. He's right a fair amount of the time.

 

Dude, weatherman Al on that UHF station in NH, he's the oddest man on TV.

 

Yeah, he is strange. Art Lake is ancient though. He's worked for WJAR since it was a radio station over 50 years ago! He has plenty of expirence at forecasting the weather. That's why I trust him to an extant.

 

Oh, now i know who you mean! The REALLY old guy! My father watches him at his office, he likes him.

 

Yup. He is really ancient. But him and Frank Colletta make a good team.

 

I don't trust weathermen at all. They all lie about bad weather to get good ratings. So, to hell with all of them!!

 

That's probably the best attitude of them all.

 

SUPPOSEDLY, we are supposed to be getting 4-8 inches of snow tomorrow, which is supposed to switch to ice. So, maybe, HOPEFULLY, there might be a school cancellation or two tomorrow.

Yeah, we're supposed to get more tonight. As stupid as this sounds, I wanna go to school. I never have anything to do on snow days cause everyone wants to sleep in.

 

I love snow days! I go sledding with my friends.

 

I wonder if there's going to be any snow down here. Or just more rain/slush stuff. I'd rather enough snow to give use a much longer vacation, but that's unlikely, isn't it?
