was it ever decided if one name change was going to be allowed or not? i think i remember something about grimy/someone else saying something about allowing the one.
mmk. i think what was said before was one change was allowed. since multiple changes would seriously get ridiculous.
It's a lockdown, drag out, heated argument. Armies have been raised, people have died, and we had to pry PBrooks-CSA off of ChuckieSumner124 so the former would stop caning the latter. The entire Kansas board is a wreck. Alternatively, we're ironing out the details to try and get it exactly right the first time, so don't necessarily expect earlier statements to hold, though they might. Whichever you find more plausible.
One time seems reasonable. I'm betting a bunch of requests are going to come from people who registered when they were 13, and they're going to be asking for Darth, Jedi, etc to be dropped from their names.
Precisely. Or people who registered after the great UBB migration and couldn't have spaces in their names.
Yes, they are a nice touch. But I'm annoyed by how it's just one character too long to be on one line. Curse you, "1"!
NO. You created your nerd names and you're stuck with them. For instance my incorrect "I" must stay forever to show my stupidity and lack of foresight in only checking a West End Games book for spelling, rather than Alta Vista. UKS
Actually, I'm in Chrome and I've got Boba_Fett_2001 fitting on one line, while Grimby the Hutt does not.
You can also try hitting compatibility view. I'm on IE. BF2k1 was showing up as one line and Gimby as two until I hit it, and now everything is on one.
It makes my eye twitch the way my name is wrapped. Would adding a space put Skywalker on the second line, instead of just the "lker"?
I like the idea of being able to change my name, because I don't like my current one. But I don't like the idea of expelling all the creative energy necessary to think of a new one.
Well, I could get behind that, as only JC Prime members can receive board points. But it costs 1,000 Schrute Bucks for an annual JC Prime membership...
