What you need to do is "shay" it like Sean Connery...
"Pushy Galore"...i musht be dreaming! :D.

Ever wonder if he goes to the "city" bank? (insert Connery accent) ;)

Shorry JR, jusht pulling your shtring!
I wanna go home too and start the weekend but it's still only thursday.....
    Which reminds me:

There's a blonde happily bouncing around the office saying: "T.G.I.F...T.G.I.F!!!"
A grumpy old man tells her... Sugar.Honey.Iced.Tea...Sugar.Honey.Iced.Tea"
"No, no", she says. "T.G.I.F..Thank God It's Friday"
"No maam, Sugar.Honey.Iced.Tea....Sorry Honey It's Thursday!!!"

(plesae note: use capital letters for the old man's response)

Ok, because I know you have been waiting for this ever since I first mentioned it... Here are the colors for next year:
    Gnu, looks like hay
    Parakeet, like a blue parakeet
Hedwig, dirty white, named after you guessed it, Hedwig from Harry Potter
    Aardvark, dark brown
    Quetzal, dark pink
Nemo, orange color of clown fish from Finding Nemo
    Liatris, dark purple
    Kapok, brownish green
    Fennel, light green
    Tamarind, pinkish orange
    Rowan, lime green
    Valerian, mauve, pink
    Titanium, gray
    Pyrite, goldish color
    Cadmium, grayish baby blue
    Vermiculite, grayish green
    Peridot, a dull yellow
    Beryl, really dark grayish green
    Rejuvenation, another lime green?
    Harmony, baby blue
    Fulcrum, purpleish blue
    Cadence, teal
    Gist, bright red
    Moonlight, soft yellow.

So now the LAFF can be in style for next year. My job is weird.

Well, the colors are for everything from clothing to carpet. Half of my job is working with interior designers who decorate the interiors of our buildings on the lot. That is how shallow the entertainment industry is, they can afford to spend money on in house interior designers. Anyway part of my job with Studio Operations is helping the design team, and that is how I am involved with a presentation on colors for next year. Though I find it silly that we need to have this sort of thing, it was in a way pretty interesting. I still don't know how they really pick the colors. Fancy artsy people get together and pick colors from what they see around them. Well, I could do that.

I remember it too, but I can't recall from where.

Also, this morning here at work I had to have a funeral for my fish Lord Elrond as he has gone to the Grey Havens. He swam here at my desk for 20 months. He is survived by his friend Max Frodo. The funeral was held this morning in the 2nd floor men's room.

Of course, I cheated and looked up the lyrics, cuz all I could remember were the last three lines. Pictures of Gary and all the rest of the crew are up at the link provided.

    WOW!!!! Major FLASHBACKS here........
That was a cool show. It was great learning back then with all those shows:
    Sesame St.
    Electric Co.
    321 Contact
You guys remember your "Weekly Readers" from elementary school?
I also used to watch a bilingual show which i thought was cool... Villa Alegre. It was in english but the cast was all latino. i think it was also on the same channel as S St.

H.R. Puff-n-stuff was cool too (i just figured out the name seems rather "odd" for a kids' show..kinda like Puff the magig dragon..didn't see that one coming till i saw it on "Meet the Parents) [face_laugh].

Anyway, sigmond and the sea monster and who could forget, Billy and the magic golden flute and dear ol Witchy-poo and the guy in the flying hat...he was funny.
Sleestacks anyone? i always thought Holly was a babe [face_blush] did they ever make it outta there and back home?

Bummer about the fish, man. He must have been "well loved", as 20 months is a very long time for a fish to live in a bowl.

Thank you for your concern TK, he was well loved. We all have fish here at work and he was one of the oldest. Max Frodo is even older, he has been swimming around for two years. And that is just how long I have had him. I adopted him from another office mate. That is why he has two names. I am debating on getting a replacement for Lord Elrond.

I only have one betta now. I think Max Frodo is lost without his friend. They used to fight each other through the glass of both their bowls. Now, he is just swimming lost.

Sorry to hear about your fish.

    I'm SOOOO SLEEPY!!!!
Working on Saturdays really sucks. It makes me dead tired on Mondays. Ok this should be in the Complaint section.. but I'm almost useless here today at work. My mind feels mushy.

Sleepy at work has something to do with being bored at work. I have just taken this thread to mean anything that has to do with work in general.

I get to leave early today but I have to go to the doctor again as a follow up from last week. So it is good to leave, but bad to go to the doctor.

In other work news we will be having a "Diaper Derby" this Thursday on the lot on Main St. In an effort to promote Baby Geniouses II, we are going to have about 50 toddlers running a race during lunch on Thursday. I can't wait to hear all the screaming! It is going to be a blast. (I'm being sarcastic now).

    1) Take pictures of the diaper derby.
    2) bring me some tongue depressors from the hospital if you can, I'm working on a log cabin.

Skyryder, so sorry to hear about your loss. It's always sad to lose a beloved pet.

Uh, SoloJedi, Morgan Freeman was in Electric Company, not Sesame Street. That was a great show. We used to watch it at school once or twice a week. I think it was to give our poor teachers a break.

We have some new people at work so we've been working on training the new kids. It makes life interesting but detracts from my regular work. It's okay though.

Solo, what kind of homework do you have? Every so often I think about going back to school to get a masters or something then I remind myself that I really don't want to go through the trouble of homework and tests. I guess I've gotten lazy in my old age. I'm also not looking forward to my padawan's school starting because having to sit and monitor homework is a major pain!

I want a master's degree too DH. Let's get one together. I don't know what I would get one in though, how about you? My bachelor's is in sociology/anthropology. I don't like to study or do homework, so we will have to pick something easy.
