So, how about that weather?

It seems this forum is not so talkative as of late, so in the spirit of all conversations, I will ask, "So, how about that weather?"

Basically, if there is nothing going on in this thread, just come here to complain about the weather, wish it was cooler (or warmer), or say what a nice day it is for a picnic.


I think the weather today is quite nice. I'd say it is about 80 degrees with a nice breeze and a partly cloudy sky. Unfortunately, I have do homework and I am in my doorm room under lock and key (yes, it is my key, and yes, the lock is on the outside, but it makes my homework sound so much more important and dramatic when I say it like that).

So my advice today, go out to a park, or if you are at UNL, to the Union or a dorm courtyard and enjoy the pleasent day. Of course, only if you don't have to write a paper for English today because you put it off for a week.

 

Yeah, the weather was very nice. I, also, was inside doing homework though. I did, however, get to walk over to the Ross Film Theatre to see Bonhoeffer. I was expecting a movie and it was a documentary, so that was disappointing. But I was expecting it to be completely in German and it was mostly in English, so that was a relief. Now I have to write a half page summary for extra-credit. At least there's no pressure

 

And I'm stuck inside writing a two page responce to a essay about "living like a weasel"....

Ooh wow it's wet out there! I just got back from calc and I'm literally dripping

 

I brought a light wind breaker that serves as a rain coat.


Figures it has no hood.

I ended up soaked.


I'd like the rain more if it wasn't so wet.

My advice would be that You better dry off or you'll catch a cold, Ashley.

And I had some hot chocolate, so that should fight off a cold, right? But maybe I should put socks on... my feet are cold...

 

The weather was horrid this morning! I had quite a time getting to my Antropology class... too much rain and wind.

But generally, rain is good. Just not if you have to be out in it.

¡Buen trabajo! Necesito trabajar en un proyecto sobre un aspecto cultural de centro o sud america. Yo quiero hacerlo sobre Gabriel Garciá Marquez pero mi compañera no le gusta él para nada. ¡Qué triste! Sus libros están magnificos.

 

Would you believe it? The weather here in the Hills has been much like good ol' NE - warm and no snow. What happened to winter?

 

I would also like an answer to that question.

 

The weather out in Cali, especially in SF, has been nuts. First cloudy, then heavy rains, then light rains, then fog, then fog and rain, then clear skies, then sunshine, then sunshine and rain... It's weird as hell, but hey at least it keeps us on our toes!

 

Well at least you don't have snow. Here in Omaha we are supposed to get 4-8 inches from tonight through tomorrow.

It went from 55 degrees yesterday to 20 degerees today.

 

I guess we are lucky here in Albany. We had three feet of snow in a two week period and ended up warming up and rain. Sorry for not supporting your group but I have had bad problems with my internet connection and had to get a new router and new connection as well. Very frustrating.

 

Aw, why'd it have to decide to be February again? I was just getting used to temps in the 50's!

I was also getting used to the high temps, but at least now it feels like winter. It bugged me so much that we had a forty degree Christmas.

 

sister in law told me that she took my niece to the park yesterday and now its too cold for that.

Eh, I may not like the wind blowing in my face, but I have new mittens to use.

 

I went to Homer's today (oh how I wish I wasn't a compulsive cd buyer. ) and when I left it was just starting to snow. The wind was blowing it in my face and it was really not fun.

 

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas...
