    Nah, it's cool bro -- the problem is it's not a youtube video, so the boards won't insert it. Comicbookmovie.com's one of those news sites about comics. It was a humorous video -- it's safe. Family friendly in this case, even.

    That beinng the case, its probably a good idea to give some sort of idea as to what the link is about. Ep. 7 boards can be incredibly spam-tastic. Surely you can understand why we're inclined to "lock first, ask questions later."

    In this case, a quick read of the replies should have laid to rest any fears about the intent. Seemed a bit lock-happy.

    But also this could have been resolved with a PM, rather than a comms thread

    Pretty much what was said earlier- a thread that is nothing more than a link can be subject to a lock. We generally want the OP to put context behind what they are posting and set it up for a discussion.

    As halibut said, you should PM a forum mod on the decision.
