Hehe.. I finally gave in a joined the sci-fi book club. I spent 15 bucks on 200 dollars worth of books. They were all compilations of several books from a series. Hehe... so I practically bought 12 for the price of 6. Lovely really.

So now I need recomendations. So far ones I plan to get are:

    Ender's Game,
    Any books by McCaffrey
    Any by Prattchet

So what do you all suggest?

THe girls in the Fortress were talking about some named Stephen Lawhead, I think, but they seemed to like his stuff quite a bit. Other than SW, I really don't read any Sci-Fi. Sorry

    Fiest is good.

I like David Eddings, Larry Niven, David Weber and Lauren Hamilton.

If you like McCaffrey you would probably like Mercedes Lackey.

Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield, well I like to read them. Calvin and Hobbes especially; it may not seem like it but that 6 year old makes very valid points all the time.

Side Note - This reading material is not suitable for adults. Calvin and Hobbes is just side material for when you need a good laugh or are looking for a biased opinion of a child.

So they're not science, but they sure are fiction.
