JCC So, I May Have Cancer....

I'm currently under going a cancer scare. Had a biopsy done on Monday and currently waiting it out to get the results.

I think I can safetly say I am going through easily the worst month of my life.

 

Considering the other thread, this couldn't come at a worse time.

But joking aside, I'm sorry to hear that. What kind of cancer?

But seriously, I hope for the best with the biopsy results.

 

I have had two suspicious lesions removed from my mouth.

Gavin, sorry you're having to go thru this...From what you described, there's lots of silver linings to hang onto, even if it is a bad case scenario...but cancer is cancer and that sucks, no getting around that. It will be a huge weight off your shoulders once you know what exactly you're dealing with, then you can go after it.

In the meantime, I don't know how much help the JC can be, but we're good at being a distraction, so take advantage of that.

I don't know if you'll find this encouraging or not, but my mother was diagnosed with inoperable cancer a while ago... and then, months later, after several more tests, it turned out to be a misdiagnosis. They were really sure, up until they weren't. Everyone's first thought naturally turns toward cancer, but there are many things that look similar at first that are not as bad. I hope that will be the case with you.
