yeah true...... Year 12 isnt a good indication of how smart a person is
Absolutely. Besides, there are many different types of "intelligent", and only a few are tested by the VCE system.
intelligence does not mean academic success
My sister got 99.10!!!! Dux of her year level!!!
*stabs JE's sister and steals her ENTER*
Wait, no. Congrats to her, the smart cookie!
lol that was very harsh, graphically violent... where art thou oh Tyrants?
I apologise! Please don't set the TRYANTS onto me!
Bloody hell, congratulations to your sister, JE! Fantastic work!
Milk all round!

You don't get one until you learn to write out numbers as words
Check the stats, my young friend. Monash attracts vastly more lucrative grants for its biomedical research, and produces new papers and sets up new labs at a rate unmatched in Victoria. We are increasingly the hub of biomedical research not just in the state but at a national level: second only to ANU.
Home to the National Stem Cell Centre and the Synchrotron, and of course such minds as Alan Trounsen and James Whisttock, Monash is by far the greater School of Biomedical Science, and indeed, Medical Faculty; along the Alligned Health Sciences industry.
In fact, the only thing Melbourne IS a leader in - although its closing fast - is the courses slightly higher ENTER score, and that only by virtue of the Sandstone uni's vastly inflated view of its own importance, and the hitherto sight-unseen prestige school-leavers ephermally attach to such a placement.
Now stand back ma'am, and don't worry: I'm a Scientist!!!
Strikes pose and vanishes
I also believe that by going to Melbourne you can enjoy a higher sense of intellectual superiority, warranted or not.
Yeah, you Melbourne snobs sure know how to lord it over people
Then again, when communing with the hippies out at Latrobe, I do find that we can use that hatred of Melb Uni to kill the occassional animal to eat...
In my opinion i have never seen such snobbery in students before I visited Melbourne Uni lol and I cannot pick a reason!
As far as I can see, the only real advantage of Melbourne Uni is that it has beautiful grounds. There are a lot of idiots that go there.
No, now it is fixed.
NOW its fixed
Actually I rarely see anyone smoking at uni.
Eh, maybe there were just more narky deathdefying drama students back in 2000
Thats pretty much the only time I've set foot on that campus.
You can add another Melbourne Uni VicFFer to the listage.
*holds a mini funeral*
Dearly departmentalised, we are gathered here today to welcome A-Kla to the world of Melbourne Uni...
Ashes to ashes...Dust to dust...
Suddenly, I feel glad that I went to Murdoch
