On Sky movies. It was either pure genius, or one of the most up it's own backside films I've ever seen....
Nolan is an awesome director, Inception is a great movie although rather layered and perhaps more complex than it needs to be. Mark Kermode rated this film very highly, and said that Nolan is showing guys like Michael Bay how to make intelligent blockbuster movies. He has made smart films that appeal to those who love the big-budget action flicks, so it's soemthing for everyone. Unlike Bay who just makes pointless action porn and has no idea how get actors to act.
You hit the nail on the head. It was a little more complex than it needed to be. But then, it makes a change having to actually watch a film properly, so as not to miss anything. I like how Nolan seems to be working with alot of the same actors now too. Like one big happy Nolan family.
