like I always say, quick death from ebola - you should be so lucky.
Time to hide in the bunker with my canned beans and Star Wars Blu-ray's!
Except the blu-rays contain a) Prequels and b) molested originals, so it's hardly the companionship you want. 2007 OOT releases or GTFO.
jabba at what point should i panic and/or riot?
According to Jabba the time would probably be now.
An outbreak in a major American city.
once the blood vomiting/projectile diarrhea starts, i'm just going to blow my head off.
im retrofitting my zombie bug-out bag for ebola duty
gonna make for the mountains to start with. it wont be comfortable, but ill survive the initial pandemic in solitary contemplation and in the aftermath i can use my ruthless cunning to take over a semi-established settlement just as they're getting their feet
You could do the Jude Law character from Contagion - blogging about fake remedies from your reinforced bunker.
im deffo constructing a bubble boy suit, dunno about the rest of that tho
Of course the most horrifying thing is the possibility that we'll all be fine, and be forced to confront the meaninglessness of our own existence for decades yet to come.
stop looking inside my soul
Everything is a trap.
Except I'm not you and I love the Prequels and the Special Editions.
Oh. So you're not critical and/or fan of good things.
If you can watch the Star Wars prequels and enjoy them then slowly starving to death in an apocalyptic wasteland is going to be a walk in the park.
I feel like you're better off eating the discs, really
I'm not a fan of rude fanboy snobbery, that's for sure.
I promise you all that if I get Ebola, I'll watch Revenge of the ****s all the way through for a second time.
possible ebola death in Saudi Arabia
I still don't think it's going to cause any large outbreak outside sub-Saharan Africa. Every developed nation is hyper-alert now for travelers from the region. The problem is containment inside large African urban slums. I'm not sure how many new cases a week it would take to overwhelm all public health resources that the WHO, other foreign help from the likes of CDC and local officials could throw at the problem.
This was the distribution of new cases early in the outbreak:
That was before it had spread to Freetown and Monrovia.
I don't know whether or not I should be bothered by the fact that this is the most measured look at the outbreak that I've read to date. Too many news outlets want this to be The Stand.
This isn't the first time it's been like this. Remember SARS? And swine flu? Heck, I'm pretty sure there was an ebola outbreak in the mid-nineties that was supposed to kill us all!
I remember SARSstock!
But will Randall Flagg show up in Vegas?
