Oh stop whining. It's about -12 here with snow and ice.

 

but you've seen our infrastructure Beth. Our roads are hell at -6. All the side streets aren't gritted so they are like deathtraps right now.

 

Well according to my car temperature gauge it's -6 here too. And no amount of lawyers roasting on an open fire are gonna keep me warm.

But talk to me again in a few weeks and that'll be a farenheit number.

 

Its probably about -6 here plus the snow and ice. I didnt mind it until I feel over 4 times going home from Neill's which is normally a 5 min walk that took me 15 mins

well, I work in Local government so I know how pointless it is too complain about it. It will have melted by the time they pull their finger out.

 

-6 is normal winter temperature here. It was -15 around Christmas Eve. In Russia there is a village where the temperature gets to around -40. -17 is considered a good temperature for a stroll.

But yeah, it doesn't get THAT cold here.

 

It was definitely below 0 when I left home this morning for work... it's gonna up a few points now, but still murder on the hands (and I had to carry stuff today)...

 

I'm sat in the office by a radiator and the sun's streaming through the window next to me. It's like sitting in a greenhouse.

Honestly, if you're cold put a jumper on! That's what my mum always says. And if you're still cold then turn the heating up. Simple!

It's too hot to work... I wish I was cooler...!

I tried to learn how to convert one into another, but I can't remember all the math.

 

No jumper to put on... and the heating is controlled from the basement by boiler-monkeys

Tc = (5/9)*(Tf-32)


Tf = (9/5)*Tc+32

where Tc is temp in Celcius and Tf is Temp in Far'
