SWRPF Archive So, It's the Jedi Purge... Who Gets It First? (An RPG)

OOC: Oochy, just to let you know, I've seven people after all of you:

The one you are fighting is the Dark Jedi...

::The Dark Jedi began to fight heartily against his very skilled opponent. As he fought, a freighter landed in a nearby docking bay::

OOC: Oh, so Jeno isn't here yet, okay.

IC: The blows from the dark warrior began to weaken Ootal defenses, finaly, the red blade slices through Ootal's arm. Cluching his arm, and droping his saber, he falls to the roof at the dark Jedi's feet.

Looking up at his attacker, he bows his head and perpares to die.

OOC: I know he's not going to kill him, but, Ootal thinks he is.

 

::As Ootal looked at his attacker, he watched as the Dark Jedi slashed downward with his lightsaber. As the blade neared his neck in slow motion, it stopped. The Dark Jedi helped Ootal up to his feet. They walked down to stairway together and out into the crowded city streets, walking towards the outskirts where the Dark Jedi's starship was parked::

I am sorry to interrupt your current game, but another member has brought it to my attention, that I mis-placed a word. The word is ?Besiege? and it means to basically not keep me informed in which is the opposite of what I asked. The word I meant was ?beseech? now I feel bad?Sorry for my mis-communication .

OOC: Ootal, you sure know how to get yourself into trouble.

IC:

//NYX, I NEED YOU NOW!//

Nyx scrambled to her feet in a very undignified manner.

"What's the matter?" Sarin asked, completely exhausted.

"Ootal!" Nyx said quickly as she raced down the hall towards the exit.

Bursting out into the cool night air, her heart was pounding in fear.

Over her bond a staggering wave of pain came from Ootal.

He's going to be killed. Nyx realized, terror swamped her.

"NOOOOO!!!!!" Nyx screamed mentally as she practically flew over the ground in a force-enhanced run.

Please, oh Please don't let him die! Nyx prayed as she leapt up.

A shot of surprise flowed over her as she alighted silently on the roof just in time to see Ootal disappear from view down the other side of the building.

Her dark eyes flashed as she raced to the other side.

Nyx's breath caught at the sight of her young friend being pulled along by a tall darkly dressed man.

With a snarl Nyx leapt down from the roof.

She quickly rolled into a crouch in the small ally-way where they had stood moments before.

Quietly Nyx pulled her lightsabers out and charged after the two of them.


OOC: I don't want a long fight, Maybe she can take him by surprise and then escape with Ootal?

I don't think he's ready to die yet.

Neither is Nyx now that I think of it.

OOC: So far it's me playing the Dark Jedi. One of my friends will be taking it over...

::The Dark Jedi and Ootal neared the ship. As they did, the other ship opened revealing Zai-. He walked out with cuffs and bound the young Jedi. The two entered the ship and the starships took off headed for Coruscant::

Nyx watched in horror as the ship holding Ootal slowly rose into the air.

//OOTAL!!!// She desperately cried out through their bond.

?NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!? Nyx screamed after the departing star ship.

The ship eased out of the atmosphere??.. and left for Coruscant.

Cursing, Nyx spun around, all present dangers forgotten as she raced for Turning Moon.

I will not let you down again Ootal. She promised as she reached out with all of her Force ability to find Ootal?s faint signature.

Sarin sat beside Nichell, willing her to come to. She needed her Master. They hadn't been together long, but she felt lost.

Finally, Nichell opened her eyes and moaned as the light hurt her eyes.

"Master?" Sarin asked. "Are you going to be okay?"

Nichell tried to turn her head, but the muscles in her neck would not work. She tried to move other muscles, but they did not work either.

"Don't know." she answered truthfully. "Can't move."

Sarin did not know how to take this. She was glad Nichell was finally awake, but disturbed that she could not move. Apparently, the poison paralyzed her. Not good.

 

::The Dark Jedi's and the Bounty Hunter's ships glided through hyper-space together. Inside the Dark Jedi's ship, Ootal sat uncomfortably on the floor in a small holding pen near the rear of the small craft. He was no longer bound::

Dark Jedi: We're nearing Alderaan. It won't be long before we reach Coruscant.

::"What does he want with me", thought Ootal::

Dark Jedi: My Master has plans for you, young one. You must be hungry. Regain your strength.

::The Dark Jedi threw a fruit back to Ootal to eat. As Ootal ate, the navigation chart showed only one Standard hour left to Coruscant::

It has come to my attention that I may only have one RPG in this forum (I didn't realize the rule), so I have a choice.

I have 3 RPG's currently on track. They are:

1) The Darth Vader Trial
2) So, It's the Jedi Purge... Who Gets It First (An RPG)
3) It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Galaxy

It would make it much easier for me to decide if I had the players in each RPG decide whether they would like to continue the game, or whether they would rather end it due to lack of interest. So, if it would be alright which each of you, could you please hold the game and vote.

I would like each player to write a post in this format:

I vote we end this one.

I'm used to being able to control my own character more than I have here. I like to be able to have a chance to defend myself when there's an attack, and I didn't get to do that when I was hit by that dart. And since I have gotten no input as to the effects of the poison on the dart, I'm having to make things up as I go, and I'm not sure what to do with Nichell.

 

OOC: Oh no, I love this RPG...


I say we keep it going a little longer...


I just want to get to die after all I have taken Ootal through...


IC:
An hour later, the ship carrying Ootal landed in the old industrial area.

Grabing Ootal by the back of his neck, the dark Jedi drug him out of the ship and threw him infront of a dark robed figure.

"Ootal, we meet again. I'm quite disaponited with you, which usely would mean a quick death. But, you will be an execption. Join me and you will live. If you do not however, you will recive an extremly painful death. And I'm sure you don't want that too occur."

Disgusted with him, Ootal felt like leaping up and attacking him, but, he restained himself and instead answered,

"I cannot do what you ask, Chancelor. I will not surrender my soul to the dark side. I'm sorry."

Relizing that he was about to be killed, he sent a telepathic good bye to Nyx and lowerd his head.

See it doesn't take long to finish it...

Have Nichelle die from the toxin and her padawan taken from her, and renamed by Palp', Mara...

Kill me slowly and painfully...(Over 2 or 3 post)

And I'm sure Nyx will attack you for killing me and you can kill her...

Then it's over.

I really like you controling which way the game is going like you have been.

:alpatine lowered his head as well and the bonds that held Ootal's hands broke free::

Palpatine: You were a good friend. Go.

OOC: Ootal is free. Do what you must...

IC: Ootal begain to back away from Palpatine shakeing his head as he went.

Stoping, he streched out his hand and called the dark Jedi's saber to himself. Igniting it he began back torwards Palpatine.

"I cannot let this go any farther. This must now be finished."

OOC:

Do what you must.

I plan too.

 

:alpatine Force-grabbed his apprentice's lightsaber and began to fight furiously::

Palpatine: Your friends are dying. What will you do about that?

:alpatine began to fight harder than ever against his small foe. The boy began to use striking blows::

Palpatine: Ah, good! Continue, and your path to the Dark Side will be complete!

IC:

Ootal strikes another blow and another.

"When will you learn theres a differance between useing the Darkside and simply doing the galaxy a favor."

Ootal struck harder and harder.

"And destorying you will be about the best thing I could do."

He then lunged back at Palpitine's chest.


OOC: Okay, so he's fighting pretty aggresively. But, so did Obi-Wan and he never turned...

 

::As Ootal struck angrily, Palpatine backed away slowly and Ootal rose into the air. Trying to fight it, Ootal began to move closer and closer to the edge of the Senate Hall's landing platform::

Palpatine: I'm sorry, Ootal. I'm afraid I must do this.

:otal moved 3 meters from the edge of the platform. Palpatine shrugged as Ootal's weight was dropped::

OOC: You may save yourself, or end your life... Bwahahaha!

IC: Ootal body plunged towards the ground.
Weaken by the fight, Ootal could barely slow himself down as he fell.

Deciding there was little left to live for, now that Siddious was in charge, he just allowed himself to fall.

A few secconds later, Ootal's fragile body shattered as it stuck the ground. His spirit becoming one with the Force.

OOCL:

Okay I'm dead... Next.

 

OOC: That's sad...

:alpatine stepped to the edge of the platform, knowing that Ootal had become One with the Force::

Palpatine: Good bye, my friend.

::Just then a ship flew wildly into the airspace and landed on the platform. Palpatine spun around to see what it was all about::

OOC: This ship can be anyones. Whoever claims it first...
