Luckily I don't live in the flooded areas. I do work downtown though, which has been completely emptied. Dunno if I'll even be able to go back on Monday. Depends on how long it takes the river to go down.

 

Hopefully they go down really quickly.

You have my sympathies. Around my area, we got hit hard by Hurricane Irene, Hurricane Floyd and a couple of other storms I can't remember the name of. All I know is they left me with an irrational but real fear of heavy rains and flooding.

I'm safe, live a ways away from the river. Things are still pretty crazy here though. Gonna be a while for the city to recover. Thankfully, somehow, there have been no confirmed deaths. City had enough warning from upriver to get everyone evacuated in time.
