Has it been officially stated when the series will resume? I thought I heard January, is that right?

 

I had to look up what BSG was! With all the shows starting their new seasons, I'm sure there will be more post on the boards.

seriously? don't tell me you're a "i like the original better" people. i gave the english version a chance, but enjoy the us version more. i had a boss who felt that the english version was better, but i think that was because he was under the impression that "if it's not english, it's CRAP!" he's also one of those people that will watch crappy english scifi (i'm looking at you doctor whats-his-name!) just because he knows it's popular and it's english. i give the shows a try and if they don't grab my interest after 4 or 5 episodes, i'm.... woah!

Little over two months.

can.not.wait.

 

We almost lost the second half of the season due to the writer's strike. They considered ending it with them landing on earth.

 

Oh gawd, no! That was a horrible way to leave us hanging for this long. I cannot imagine if that was how the series ended.

Well, they are planning a TV movie after this season is over to wrap things up, and a spinoff show.

The Plan (TV Movie)
On August 7, 2008 Sci-Fi Channel officially announced the production of a two-hour TV movie which will air after the final episode of Season 4. Written by Jane Espenson and directed by Edward James Olmos, The Plan storyline begins before the attack on the 12 colonies and will show events mainly from the perspective of two Cylon agents. Confirmed cast members include Olmos, Michael Trucco, Aaron Douglas and Dean Stockwell. Tricia Helfer, Grace Park, Rick Worthy, Matthew Bennett, Callum Keith Rennie, Michael Hogan and Rekha Sharma will also feature. The movie began production on September 8, 2008.

Caprica (New series)
Caprica is a proposed television series described as "television's first science fiction family saga". Caprica will be set on the fictional planet Caprica around fifty years before the events depicted in the 2004 reimagined series. The show will revolve around two families, the Adamas and the Graystones, the building of the Cylons, and the beginnings of the first Cylon War. A two-hour backdoor pilot is scheduled to air in late 2008.
