Thanks Bloodclaw! I found a red guard tonight at San Mateo WM. Too bad it was already in some other guy's hands as he was leaving. Lucky bastich.

I was also able to piece together a set of #33 through #36 thanks to the WMs at Carlisle and at Academy. It looked like Eubank still had a few boxes of figs to put out, so there may or may not be a possible score in someone's future this morning. As for me, I need to get some rest.

So where did you end up finding the Clone Commander and Pilot?

 

Target...Saturday morning while everyone was looking at their Vader figures....I ran like a bat out of hell to the toy aisle!

 

Yes, I found the Clone Commander, Clone Pilot and exploding Greivious At the Carlisle Wal mart, also for those of you interested the Chicken Walker thing with the Barc Trooper is at Wal Mart on San Mateo. !

 

David...did you get those at Target that morning? Or down south?

I so wish I had more money. That clone commander looks awsome!! Alas I need to wait TWO weeks till I get paid again.../sob... Im just crossing my fingers that maybe Ill get lucky and get all the ones I want without paying a furtune on e-bay. Oh and my wife ran into a few of you who were dressed up on Saturday as she was searching for action figures and she said all of you looked really cool

I managed to score a #35 Palpatine at the Academy Wal-Mart this morning, but none of the other three from that wave.

 

Question:

Why is Padme pretty much considered a backround character when it comes to figures and collectables?

With the new Episode III toys, there is only 1 Padme action figure, and its not a very good one either..

It's pretty sad when there are more figures about Cantina patrons like Hammerhead than there are for Padme.

 

It's more like what I didn't buy.

 

I decided to pull a Redgek last night and hit up Wal-Mart at around midnight. Sure enough, at the Academy location, I found two cases that had #33-#36 in them. I managed to get one open and walked away with the Clone Commander, Clone Pilot and General Grievous.

On a slightly similar note, I just read on Rebelscum how Hasbro's already corrected the #35 Palpatine's blue blade by changing it to red. Of course, I found this out the day after I bought and opened the incorrect version.

Man, I might have to try tonight.

Hey jango_junkie! It was great meeting you. I know I met several people Friday night, so I just wanted to make sure which one you were...

I think it was Jennifer who watched your cart for you. She's a friend of mine from Socorro who drove up with her husband and their friends for the release.

Only to find Saturday morning at Walmart that there was NOBODY in the tent picking up toys. So they coulda saved themselves a trip!

 

I'll keep my eyes open for you Bob, since I'm still hunting for #37-#40 and a red saber Palpatine.

I left three Clone Commanders and one Clone Pilot behind last night, and I'm sure I'll be seeing more in the coming weeks.

Yeah - I wish there was more collectible stuff for Padme (Still awaiting to get a Padme Ep2 unleashed figure )

But I guess they're trying to still keep some *secrecy* around her character since she has some key moments in Sith...but hey! Didn't you notice that on the Padme figure she comes with *SWELLING FEET ACTION*?? Sweet!

 

I want a Padmé with "giving birth" action. Instead of squeezing the legs together to activate the action feature, you'd pull the legs apart. Or maybe just squeeze the stomach.

On a separate note, I caved and purchased the Early Bird today.
