So what did you end up wearing for Opening Day?

Considering I drove for over eight hours, don't have a lot of room in the car, and that I don't like wearing costumes for long periods of time for comfort purposes, I wore an AC/DC t-shirt and khakis. I felt about as out-of-place as a Trekkie and a couple of people said something to the effect that I missed the rock concert or something.

There was a costume contest about 9 PM or so and someone dressed up as Queen Amidala from TPM won it and won a PS2 video game or something.

Not to be outdone, they then held a random drawing for some pretty cool prizes, donated by Toys R Us. Since I never win these things (this theater held just under 1000 people, and it was PACKED.) I thought that I had no shot of winning, but they called my number and I got a Imp Star Destroyer lego set. What happened next was really freaky, my friend who sat next to me got called next and got a lego set of the unveiling of Darth Vader's body suit.

 

AC/DC!! Excellent! Besides Star Wars my second favorite obsession.

(Well except for the world champion New England Patriots...)

 

The Patriots rock. Adam Vinatieri, the best NFL kicker in recent memory, went to my college.

Never got to meet him tho, as he attended several years before me.

 

Going to wear my ROTS t-shirt & jeans. I was going to wear my Jedi Robes but I got to hot in them yesterday.

 

Jedi Robes, just like I did at C3 with my Anakin Force FX saber.

 

I wore my prized "Star Wars: The First 10 Years" jacket, with the TESB and ROTJ patches I added later. I also wore the C-3PO belt buckle I've had since 1977.

I figure the next time I see it, I'll wear my Han Solo vest.

 

Nothing.

 

I wore my old brown t-shirt with the "iron-on" Storm Troopers patch, kicking it old style.

Thought it was more appropriate than wearing my Darth Maul shirt.

 

Anakin costume. It rocked.

 

Jedi costume. MY mum said it was stupid but all guys at the cinema loved it!
