Perhaps the true meaning of christmas has been lost, last time I checked it wasn't about winning....
I got a few things I wanted and had a great day with family and friends

Absolutely nothing, since I don't bother with Christmouse it's no surprise and no worry to me.



Chansplace: Mousepad/wrist support

I find these wrist support things a complete waste of deskspace (which is very limited on my desk, even though it's tidy) and get annoyingly in the way. Whenever I have to use a computer that's got them I move them out of the way. But the gel filled ones are fun to play with, sort of like those "stress toys".

RSI is just a figment of some over-greedy doctor's imagination.

Chansplace needs the wrist support cause he has problems when using a PC for time on end.

How's the physio going Chans?

Yea. I've hearda ll about the gel filled ones, cut them open and use the gel thing as a slapper. They stretch to about 3 meters and can flick / slap other employees really good! My cousin was telling me this on Xmas day

wrist is getting better (I think) it seems to come back every now and then, but as Buzz said, its probably just Psychological

Spent way too much today (Farmers: 30% off toys, Warehouse 20% off Toys) Got me a Treebeard, Sauron, a Republic Gunship (finally!) and lotsa Zoids

Late Christmas pressie from uh, myself :

As someone who's wrists are most sertainly a constant source of pain, the wrist rests really do help. I've got an el cheapo mousepad with a round pad thing that moves aroud. The elevation it gives eases some of the strain.

Anyway, I've already posted in the other thread that I got a digi cam, MR perfume (with the tank top) and a kitten

Though the kitten was more of a "poor wee lost kitten going to get run over unless we take him home" type thing.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas day and didn't eat to much.

I could almost guarantee that nobody here is using a computer as much as me - when it's your job and main hobby you spend HEAPS of time on the computer, it probably averages out to at least 8 hours a day, every day (except when I must go Star Wars hunting). The only problem I have is my back which sometimes gets a pinched nerve from sitting for too long.

Hey Buzz, not all of us are in good physical health I can guarantee that no one here has to deal with the same issues I do

At least no one has said, yes I have RA too and all my joints are degrading at a fast rate

So it's not a matter of how long one is using the comp in comparisson to others, but how long they can use it due to problems.

well i got my paper tips and my redundancy at the same time.

so i payed off my NY megatron with my redundancy and saved the rest.
