FF:VIC So what happens to Jar Jar?

Seriously....what happens to Jar Jar Binks?

He's in the prequels, he's in the Clone Wars TV series, but when it comes to ANH...pooof...he's gone!

SO....what could happen to Jar Jar to make him disappear from the SW timeline and have no one mention him every again? (I know in the real world George hadn't thought of Jar Jar when he wrote the original Trilogy, but work with me here)

Was he killed in battle?
Was he assasinated by rival senators?
Was he mugged one night on the streets of Corusant?
Did he retire and live out a peaceful existance on Naboo? (we hope not)

Throw up your theories, storyline, suggestion....whatever.

WHAT HAPPENS TO JAR JAR......

 

Be fair, between ROTS which is his last appearance and ANH, 20 years have passed. If anything you can assume he stays on as a Senator and becomes of those dudes who gets dissolved when the Emperor shuts the Senate down permanetely.

Because he is such an annoying character, you can bet he lived a long and fruitful life.

WARNING EU COMMENT: Alternatively, he sided with the Alliance at some point just post ROTS - following in Amidala's late footsteps - and cops a nice old serve when the Emperor "purges" all those senators who stood against him with the Petition of Two Thousand.

 

OR

He retired to Alderan when he left the Senate.

 

I doubt it 'cause there's no reason for him to go there.

If he got given the "how's the father" from the senate you'd have to think he'd return to Naboo just so he could hang it on all his fellow gungans.

The irony of ironies is that he served in the Senate, left or got kicked out, returned to Naboo and resurfaced once the whole Empire had come and gone. The big question is whether Palpatine left Naboo alone because it was his home world and he wanted it left untouched.

Either way you can almost bet that Jar Jar was never killed off.

 

And that's the saddest part.

You never know....Alderaan is a peaceful planet, he might go there for a holiday.
