ST So, what if Snoke is actually gargantuan in size?

With a massive lightsaber, or lightsaber-pike or whatever?

We were all shocked at seeing Snoke for the first time, then surprised again at seeing it was only a hologram. We assume Snoke will be either human sized or tiny, like an evil Yoda. But what if this time it is the opposite, that the hologram actually shrank his size down and he is actually massive in size?

Would put the 'size matters not' line to rest.

If he really is massive in size it explains why Finn fled the First Order, he would certainly not have wanted to clean Mega Snokes hyawge water closet after the Supreme Leader had used the facilities.

As I understand it, he's 7 feet tall. Thats not too tall. They can have a decent fight scene.

The only thing that annoys me about Snoke, other than his complete lack of backstory (temporary condition), is that his whole existence is CGI. I worry that will affect the feel of hand to hand combat type interactions with him.

 

Melee/Lightsaber combat would be beneath him, just as it is beneath Sidious and Yoda.

Yep. The reverse or opposite Yoda. They're playing up his size via hologram now and then when we see him, he'll be ten inches tall.

However, I think you're right. If you look at the artwork in the Art Of book, he's a taller than average humanoid.
