    By Episode XV, Hamill will have had the most screentime out of anyone in the saga. It'll work out in the end.

    This is a great point. Yes. You being 26 is in no way correlated with the fictional idea that Mark Hamill was screwed out of a prominent role he was promised.

    There was one Jedi in the original film. Two if you count Vader. Three if you count the fact that Luke wanted to be one.

    Do you know how many non-Jedi were in the film? Literally everyone else. The Jedi are important, yes, but even structurally The Empire Strikes Back only half follows Luke's training as a Jedi. The other half follows distinctly non-Jedi characters.
