NYC, NY so what's the deal with the 25th?

so folks have we hammered out the time we're all meeting,my brother & I have to meet Meriwyn at Penn. so we need to know what time to tell her to be there.It's just a few days now & we really need to work out the details asap.Thanks.

 

I believe it is 1pm in the Meuseum Cafe. Then around 6ish We should be seeing AOTC at AMC, and then after, we are going to get dinner.

no prob Sam,but last I heard the time has now changed to 12 noon so I'm getting a little confused.

 

Noon? That is news to me....

Which means i actually have to get up before 9am... Grrrr

 

yeah, what's this noon business? the earlier it gets, the less likely i am to be in costume... although i think they're predicting rain for saturday, so i probably wouldn't be able to do full costume anyway.

 

same here,especialy if it rains from what I heard first is a 2hr meeting then see the exhibit then the film

 

none of this is confirmed, but as of last night there was discussion of the following:

Meeting at BMA at 12:00 noon.
2hr. meeting, 2hr exhibit (in which order I don't know)
6:15pm AotC show at AMC
then dinner for whoever is going.

Mind you, none of this is confirmed, I just happen to have been in on the discusssion.

Sam, if your going to be meeting us at Penn we'll be at the main entrance on 7th, look for the guy with the leather Blazer (that's me )

 

Yeah I'm a big New Jersey wuss and don't like to ride the subway alone (the PATH is ok but not the subway...LOL), so DV and CS have gallantly offered to meet me at Penn I assume now that since we're meeting at noon, that I will meet you guys at 11:00 instead, which is fine because the Midtown Direct train leaves every hour from my town. Hope to see you there Samantha!

the only reason the Noon time was discussed was because we wanted ample time for the meerting the exhibit and still be able to make a 6:15pm show.

If we did a later show, we could still meet at 1pm at the museum.

It's up to you guys.

chances are you guys will get to hear me complain about being tired regardless of whether we meet at noon or 1, so it doesn't matter for me.

Meeting people at Penn sounds good... really, the closer to home I meet people, the more comfortable I'll be if I'm in costume... I know half the point of costuming in the subways is to freak out the natives, but it does kind of make you look a bit more legitimate if you're with someone/people.
Though I've heard stories of costumers (at anime cons) deflecting comments by saying "We're in a play." Pedestrian: "Oh, what play?" Costumer: "Macbeth."

 

okay, just so that I'm clear on this. Who exactly are me and Cailinn meeting at the Main Entrance to Penn Station (7th Ave.) on Sat. at 11:00am?

I just wanna make sure we don't leave without anyone.

Besides, I'd like to know who I'll be having to persuade to make me SWNYC official Separatist leader
