    No, it's obviously Vader's meditation chamber, where he takes his helmet off. What you're seeing is the reflection from his scalp.

    Seriously, according to my SW Death Star Guide, it's a break room for the guards on that detention level. Break rooms tend to be white in color and this break room is no different.

    Issue solved. Next!!!

    When playing Rebel Strike last night I ran all the way to the white spot. Unfortunately two invincible stormtroopers arrived from either side of the white spot and killed me.

    So, there is a T-junction where the white spot is, where they lead to I have no idea.
