Edmonton so whens the first official event

since we've been kinda stuck as to when our first official meeting should be, maybe we should all start posting possibilities on this thread.

me, i have the stormtrooper mentality; when, where and who do i kill.

so hopefully nobody's gonna be too shy, cuz we need suggestions (as many as we can get).

all members, post messages on my mark...

 

I am totally open to anything you guys would like to do.

I think a Star Wars Screening would be a great first event, it allows us to meet each other, but wouldn't place us in the position of having to fill a couple hours with talking, which is always hard to do when first meeting people, if you know what I mean...

So for example we could go to Silvercity, and maybe meet about an hour ahead of time and have some lunch/dinner at the foodcourt, and allow us to get to know each other a bit, then head up for the movie?

I am pretty much open for any time of day, so lets say for the sake of argument, Saturday/Sunday May 25/26, or the next weekend Saturday/Sunday June 1/2?

Anybody able/willing to meet on any of those days?

well, hopefully the event will be sometime after june 4, because i have final exams until that day, so how bout june 8,9?

i have a question.

umm...what exactly do we do at an official fanforce chapter meeting?

 

We can do whatever we want

We can chat, show off our Star Wars stuff, shoot the bull, play trivia, go to the movies, go to dinner, play pool, go bowling, hit the arcade, have coffee and donuts, go to the waterpark/fantasyland... etc...

Once the summer hits in full swing, and we have had a couple meetings, I would love to invite everybody over and have a Chapter B-B-Q at my house.

Basically just get together, make some new friends and have fun! With the added benefit that we all love Star Wars a LOT!

I can only make a June 1/2 movie if its a matinee on Saturday.

 

I am good for a June 8/9 event....
