Memph, TN So when's the next meeting?

I think I've been absent long enough, absent minded...always I will be...but I hope to make the next meeting of the superior minds as well as dragging along my lovely "converted to starwars toy hunting fool" wife. So are we gonna have a git together in June? Discuss hera!

 

Ya mean we're supposed to have meetings? I've got to go back and read that whole CR/FanForce thing again. Geez, the crap ya gotta do to have a title under your name!

Your illustrious leader (yeah, right- God help y'all there) and his trusty team of advisors are working on that right now. Before I set a date, I'm going to try to nail down a nifty location.

Right now, though, we're hoping to make the next meeting another "Drive-In" Night, where we'll be watching, moreso roasting, The Phantom Menace.

Hopefully we can do it this month. I'll try and get everything worked out this weekend and let everyone know.

OK, that would be tres cool- mixing my birthday party and "Drive-In" night. If we did combine the two, it would have to happen either Friday, July 11th or Saturday, July 12th. (I'd vote for Saturday.)

Well, my negotiations to get a better venue for the next "Drive-In" night failed. Looks like we'll be doing it here again.

 

I'm sure the "Soda Gangstas" will be glad.

*edit* I vote for Saturday as well. However, we'll be late since I have to work til 6pm.

 

The 11th is good for me. I'll be at work on the 12th.....that pesky weekend rotation thing......

Okay, then...I remove my previous vote for the 12th, and instead vote for the 11th. I get off work earlier now thru the week. I get off at 3pm now...so we can be there by 5 or 6 depending on how long it takes Sherri to get ready and if I have to make a beer stop.

 

Not sure if I can make it that weekend of the 12th, but you plan it around you guys. I'm supposed to go to Michigan some time in July, just haven't figured out when. The way my job is going right now vacation, business travel and everything is right up in the air, we just got a new CEO and I just took over Capital (not THE Capitol, Capital, like the company's money - I knew that was next ...... I'm keeping Trinity Wine and Liquors in business tho'...

Not sure if you were planning on using my LCD proj. for Drive in night. I don't have it right now, its with another team member.

 

Rhonda: We couldn't do a Drive-In night without the projector, but more important, we wouldn't want to do a Drive-in night without you! We can always do the big outdoor movie thing some other time.

How about we just party our butts off? We could go slumming and watch TPM in my living room.

 

Or, we could skewer TPM say, Saturday the 28th (indoors on the small screen), and then we could party for my birthday again on the 11th. Anyone? Anyone?

 

I can do the 28th. My boss (and I) just got moved to another division....... here we go. God, I love my company.

I could probably use some downtime right about then....

 

Anytime's good for me. Just as long as it gets me away from these crazy doctors. And I might be bringing a friend with me. It all depends on if he's feeling too chicken to come...which he proabably will be. *sigh*

I vote for pizza since its easier on you so you dont have to fire-up the grill or sacrifice your goat since I know you want to save that for Halloween.
