So where are you from?

Hi I'm Terry and I'm from McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. It's a little outside of Pittsburgh. We're a small railroad town.

 

St. Louis, MO here. We have a big Arch and I think three rivers meet really near my home (the Missouri, Mississippi, and Des Peres). Our urban park, Forrest Park, built for the 1904 World's Fair, is 500 acres larger than Central Park in NY. Yeah I did the tour guide thing this summer on Segways. I could tell you more than you ever wanted to know about the Park here

 

Please excuse my poor American geography skills, but where is Cologne exactly?

 

I'm living in Edinburgh now, although I'm originally from Manchester. The Manchester pic is slightly random. In Edinburgh you have the obvious focus point of the castle, but there's nowhere really like that in Manchester. I could maybe find a pic of Old Trafford football ground if you guys want

 

*sigh* I wish I could go and visit Edinburgh... Not in winter, though, I'm scared of dark places

And I'm posting from Toulouse, France. A 2000-year-old city built on the river Garonne, with an interesting historical and architectural heritage which do not prevent Toulouse from being an active city, open to research and new technologies.
... If only my parents didn't live in here, it'd be close to heaven

 

Pueblo Colorado

its a not so small, not so large place south of denver and colorado springs. it used to be a major city out west. it was the steel and iron capital. now its a boring place to live unless oyu like to party a lot. we are kind of a tourist stop over for those going north and west to ski. it can have its good points, but i really want to get out.

 

I'm not allowed a leave from work until June... Which sounds like the perfect time to visit and bug the hell out of you people ^^

NaomiOrganaSolo, I just learned from here that Edinburgh is a sister city of Vancouver. I'm not really sure what that means, but it's probably better than being mortal enemies.

I am a little outside Fort Collins, CO! If there was something exciting about us then I would post it but there isn't!

oh come on, fort collins is so much better than pueblo!

 

And please take into consideration that some of us live in places where the culture and life-styles are so much different it'd be nice to learn a li'l bit about your town
