So who reckons they have the best video card with the best graphics, screenshots wanted.

i doubt that my geforce 2 is giving me the best possible graphics.. But I dunno it looks pretty good to me. How do your systems look? Post screenshots of any game!

 

Mine's definitely not the best. Plus, I could crank my graphics, resolution, and FSAA up to the highest for a screenshot, but you guys would be none-the-wiser as to my frames-per-second. [face_mischievious]

Fortunately, I'm too lazy to do that.

 

Dan or DUM-4. That is, until I get my GeForce4 GO, in which case Dan will be defeated in overall features, but not performance.

 

Still waiting for funds for the God-Box PB?

 

Nah. If I can upgrade the laptop I'm still paying for to a GeForce4, I can hold off on moving on the God Box for quite some time. That is a good thing, too. There are some non-computing things I'd like to purchase (furniture, B&W photography).

 

The only problem is that my Monitor doesn't support 1600x1200 resolution.

Jedi Bib- No. My home office is nice and vibrant, with street and bar signs. My bedroom is mellow. I like B&W photography, a lot. It'll be all gray in my bedroom. Nice and gray.

AlexJedi- Why is that screenshot so damn blurry?

 

I found the same problem when I was doing that picture of Jan for PB, you wanna put it into photoshop or something and increase the brightness.

 

Oh. MY bedroom has umm...a bed and some posters.

 

The screenshot is blurry because i resized it from 1200 width to 800

 

Well, then don't ask for our input on the image quality if you're going to be screwing with it.

 

I'm sure DUM beats me out. His processor and video card blow mine away, and he was twice the amount of RAM.

 

For me, it's gets to the point where I say, do I really want to throw away an extra several hundred dollars so I can get that extra 150fps, make sure that I cannot detect jaggies even with a microscope, and make my resolution so tiny that I have to shell out ANOTHER couple hundred just for that 21" monitor.



I dunno, JO runs a good 60 or so fps on 1024x768, 17" flatscreen, and about 90% of the details on high.

Works for me.

 

Check these specs and tell me if you're interested in some screenies:

20inch NEC Flat Screen LCD with DVI-in
nVidia GeForce3 6469 at 64MB with DVI-out
Intel PIII 1.0GHz
512 MB SDRAM

I run JO with maxxed out features at 1280x1024......

let's just say it looks pretty sharp......

 

I have it on 640x480 with medium graphical detail.

 

I only have a PII with a GeForce2, but I can still run it on Normal video quality without too much trouble. The only real problem lies in the sound during transitions (cut scenes, death animations, settings applications etc). But graphically it looks very nice - not as much slowdown as I expected either.

What does 'fps' stand for? Is it frames per second?

I dont have many games on my machine yet but It purs like a little kitten!

I have an ONBOARD! YAy. Um. DAmn. I hate it. And no AGP slot. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I'm getting a new PC soon tho.

Pretty good, but why is it so dark? What did you do to the sabers? They look fruity.

 

That saber is a skin, check it here Saber. Me personally I don't care for it.
