Good luck to the rest of you here on the US east coast.
Yes, batten down them hatches.
(Mods, don't think of this as an ad. Think of it like charity. Please.)
For about two years now, my family and I have built apple boxes. We've built for quite a few major studios, who picked us because we build them like all really high quality-like. We go under the name MadlyFins.
We just started marketing to open market, and are in a position to start filling orders! To show my love for you guys, I've created a discount code for 10% off.
Enter TFNFANFILM at checkout to reap the awesome.
Those are the sexiest looking apple boxes I have ever seen.
What do you think the holes are for?
OK, call me ignorant, but...
...what are apple boxes besides something to put apples into?
They help make Tom Cruise look taller.
Or that kid in Real Steel.
That's basically what they're used for, as far as I know. Based on the shape, it's pretty easy to guess the origin of the name.
Fixed? More like recast from the shallow but crowed end of the actors pool. The use of the apple box as Hollywood's heroic pedestal is no tall tale.
I don't know if there is one other person on planet Earth that wants to be involved in the next Tron more than me. Anywhere. Not even Tron guy. I have a pretty good idea about where they're going with it, and I want in. Also Daft Punk has to come back.
Confession time; I have not seen the original Tron.
I think this means we get to hit you with sticks now.
We're going to have to put you on the Game Grid.
(C'mon, Shadow. Try to keep up. )
I've seen Legacy and enough parodies to know that's bad news!
What's this? I'm gone for a month or so, and come back to see a new social thread?
With glow sticks...
Couldn't think of anyone else who'd get the joke more than you guys. If you enjoy crude film terminology puns, we made this video for you:
I'm so angry right now.
(C'mon, Vapes. Try to keep up. )
oh my sweet lord jesus the sound that obi-wan makes....
There're more, too:
Plus they haven't actually fixed the lightsabers like they claimed. Luke's is still green on the Falcon. Just scrubbed this set off my wish-list...
As an unrelated aside, does anybody know of any good print-on-demand places for DVD's? The place I used to use just closed down, and all the websites I've stumbled across in my recent searches seem... well... sketchy.
Calling it now: those are all fake. That R2D2 one doesn't even make any kind of logical sense. The sound bits are very amatuer-ish and anyone with after effects can bulge some Ewok eyes.
