    No you can't. You can trade them, abandon them or adopt other ones or get them banned but that's about it.

    You are, but that hasn't stopped everyone. For example JediWarrior. A friend of mine. I believe he holds the record for the most socks. Hes the reason why they decided to put a limit on sock usage.
