Awww, Gav! What a cute skirt! And a matching purse! I'm impressed. ;)

I'm here, Gittes. Waiting for the Oscars to start. I love Oscar night!

There's something quite compelling about Gav in a skirt....waitaminute...did I say that out loud?!

Completely forgot it was Oscar Night - I just hope Tom Hanks don't win; I is getting sick of that man!

Hehe. Buck up, Gav, I'm only yanking your knee socks. ;)

I like Tom Hanks! And he'll probably win. Odd that you're the third Brit to say that though. :(

I don't have owt against him per se - he seems a very nice chap and he does make good films - I'm just a little fed-up with him winning all the time and being such a nice guy! Russell Crowe's at least got a bit of character and seems your more traditional man's man - not all luvvie and 'I want to thank the academy etc' And Gladiator rocked it has to be said.

The socks are also tradtional ;)

I like Hanks.. Forrest Gump is one of my fave films, and he is a talented actor. But there are actors out there better than him

I know. The purse is too, right. ;)

Yes, there are better actors than Tom Hanks but none of them turned in an Oscar performance this year. Crowe is the next choice and I suppose I won't be all that surprised if he wins but if I were gonna place a bet, I'd put my money on Hanks.

It's called a sporran, and yes it is traditional too. I would like to see Crowe win the Oscar I think

I guess this means we're just waiting on Arun. Better get a pillow and a blanket. I've got a feeling it's gonna be a long cold wait.

Hello everybody, new to this forum, but it looks like I will be hanging around here for the most of my working life from now on.

Now not to be funny, but is it me but the pic of the person in the doorway is a girl. Or have I finally cracked?

    Hey, don't get too cocky! I knew Crowe had a pretty good chance of beating out Hanks! And it was quite refreshing how surprised he was. Just one thing. His next movie;

"The Man Who Would Not Smile"

I mean, what was up with him?! Was he so nervous he was afraid he'd wet himself if he laughed?!

Arun's been banned? Well that makes no sense at all.

Oh bugger! I just realised something..... MOT's Minx, you probably know who it is I look like in that picture.! - you still live in Glasgow?

I may post a better pic later!

OAC, nice to see you about here dude, even if your taste in footballers leave a lot to be desired.
