Yes folks, these two rivals will be facing each other in the championship game. The question is which team will be the victor? There have been rumours floating around that the owner of the Springfield power plant, Mr. Burns, has made a million dollar bet with Shelbyville plant owner, Aristotle Amadopolis. Little is known about Shelbyville's team but we can still speculate as to how good Springfield's team will be. Mr. Burns recently shocked the sports world when he announced he would be completely changing his undefeated team's line-up for this one game, including right fielder Homer Simpson who has stunned crowds with his monstrous homeruns. Originally, Burns had chosen quite an impressive line-up with the likes of Cap Anson, Honus Wagner, and Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown. However it has been revealed that all of these players have retired and passed on (in fact the right fielder has been dead for 130 years). After an extensive search, Mr. Burns has found his new dream team: [image=http://www.homerize.com/_framegrabs/8F13/fg_196.jpg] P: Roger Clemens [image=http://www.homerize.com/_framegrabs/8F13/fg_108.jpg] C: Mike Scioscia [image=http://www.homerize.com/_framegrabs/8F13/fg_123.jpg] 1B: Don Mattingly [image=http://www.homerize.com/_framegrabs/8F13/fg_083.jpg] 2B: Steve Sax [image=http://www.homerize.com/_framegrabs/8F13/fg_082.jpg] 3B: Wade Boggs [image=http://www.homerize.com/_framegrabs/8F13/fg_084.jpg] SS: Ozzie Smith [image=http://www.homerize.com/_framegrabs/8F13/fg_069.jpg] LF: Jose Canseco [image=http://www.homerize.com/_framegrabs/8F13/fg_103.jpg] CF: Ken Griffey Jr [image=http://www.homerize.com/_framegrabs/8F13/fg_195.jpg] RF: Darryl Strawberry This team looks really good to me. There's no way Mr. Burns can lose this bet. Unless, of course, his nine all-stars fall victim to nine separate misfortunes and are unable to play. But that will never happen. Three misfortunes, that's possible. Seven misfortunates, there's an outside chance. But nine misfortunes? I'd like to see that!
