Solo Solo: A Star Wars Story Trailer #2

Boba Fett's Skull symbol is on the chips when they're playing Sabacc, I wonder if that'll be in the movie.
And I actually think that commercial is pretty cool

 

The setting for the commercial matches up pretty well with the Sabacc game setting in the trailer. Given that a lot of the denizens in the commercial are wearing furs I'm guessing that this is on Vandor. They need a ship for the Train Heist and Han wins Lando's services.

 

Wow that Denny's ad actually ramped up my excitement. Give me all the creatures. Now.

 

Is.. is that some actual Solo score at the end? If so, I love it.

 

I am wondering if its actual Solo movie footage with kids spliced in? I do think it is really cool? old school marketing we haven't seen since circa 1999!

 

I dig the Tuvan throat singing at the beginning.

 

Me too! Definitely caught my attention along with all the aliens.

 

If that is real footage with the kids just added in - Mark me down for a "cool" !

P.s - Anyone notice Constable Zuvios helmet recycled on one of the background characters?

 

Seems ot me that the Sabacc game setting is a homage to 'The Raven' tavern.

That may be the main bar in the advert but it looks like the Sabacc game takes place in a side room. Certainly the Zuvio-hat character and Argus (both seen in the advert) are actually playing at the table in the movie.

 

I hear the Solo trailer will either drop on Monday the 9th or 16th of April.

Someone who has a track record on such things, it's definitely a Monday but at the time the person wasn't sure if it would end up being the 9th or 16th.

 

Well, turns out it isn’t!

I have a feeling that we will hear something today on the Star Wars Show.

That said, my feelings are wrong a large percentage of the time.

is that just a guess or assumption? This kind of doesn't Jive with my Sunday Night plans I usually watch Bobs Burgers, The Simpsons, and Family guy those are my favorite shows my all time favorite Is Futurama! But If It Is at night I got to DVR my Fox shows...
