Solo Solo, Toys and Collectibles

I've seen people selling them on etsy but as far as official merch, not yet.

 

If early reports are to be trusted I could see Lando figures being very popular, shame Hot Toys and Sideshow have been so unwilling to have one ready for release.

 

Really? Hot Toys hasn’t done a Lando figure? I’m sorry, but given his prominence in the series, his big role in Solo, and fan appreciation for him, that’s baffling. Makes one wonder if the reason is an ugly one...

 

I doubt there is anything sinister, we'll end up with something eventually...probably Mudtrooper and a Rangetrooper.

 

Force Friday midnight was an empty cart for me as well. However on Friday I managed to stop at a Target on way home and it was fully stocked. Picked up troopers, Enfy Nests with swoop bike, Han Solo with speeder, and some BS+VC.

Picked up wave two on Saturday at Target. Moloch is a great figure. Looking forward to wave three already!

 

Hasbro 12" scale Enfys Nest and swoop bikes could've done well, if Sideshow and Hot Toys been daring and done the Cloud-Riders the market could be great for those companies.

Received my Solo One Sheet poster in the mail today thanks to Disney Movie Rewards.

A few weeks ago I picked up the Black Series Rangetrooper and these two 3.75 guys as well. I havent been able to find them in stores since. I looked on Amazon and the Mimban trooper is almost 30 bucks. Wierd.

 

I haven't seen the Mimban trooper at all. I don't understand why this one is so difficult to find. Are collectors building armies of this figure?
Tonight I picked up Wave 2 Snoke and Moloch.

I predict a cosplay crossover....... Madam Mimban Trooper. The helmet of a Trooper, with the dress and shoes of Madam Mim.... with bits of lavender hair protruding out the base of the helmet. And mud.

The Mimban trooper is 1 per case, unfortunately.

 

With those 1 per case figures, does their scarcity continue, or will they be included in future shipments with future waves until they're easier to find?

 

It's not been re-packed in any of the upcoming waves that I've seen, but I guess they could include it further down the line. I guess that they simply underestimated the demand for that figure this time around.

Hot Toys Han:

 

So many background characters, new vechicles and places in this movie ! Loved the designs overall, waiting for the inevitable 100's action figures that will come out from this one.

 

Hot Toys is always the best! I have the Hot Toys Rogue One 1/6th scale Darth Vader, Death Trooper Specialist, Jedha Patrol Stormtrooper and good ol' K-2SO and they are all so very luscious and magnificent, I just absolutely am in love with them!

 

Hot Toys Han will be mine. I'll place an order once my next paycheck comes in. Same for if they make a Lando, Qi'ra, Beckett, or Enfy.

 

Got the poster, dice and button set from the fan event at AMC. Stuff is already going for crazy prices on eBay.

 

Not a bad start from Hot Toys but that prototype still needs some work, it looks more like an Alden lookalike than the man himself...
