    LOL

I hope so... Maul needs to have an epic duel with Kenobi and then die in a fun or funny way.

For those against making Clovis exclusive to the Season 5 Blu-ray set...

How about it gets it's own DVD or Blu-ray release, either by itself or with the remaining "lost" episodes from Season 5? This would be a la the "Darth Maul Returns" single DVD set with the 4 final eps from S4.

So they can charge in $24.99USD for 3 or 4 episodes of TCW? I'd rather get it on the blu-ray if its gotta be like that.

I haven't bought any of the seasons yet, so putting exclusive arcs on disc doesn't sit well with me.

If they were gonna release it on Blu-Ray, they'd bundle it with the Season 5 set. I don't see that happening though, I think they'll air Clovis with Season 6.

Plus that means they've already got the trailer footage set-up for the end of Season 5! :p

Yeah. My wallet just yelled again at the thought and my debit card said "WTF?"

QFT. When elementary school kids start asking when he's going to die--dude needs to die.

I'm personally rooting for Kenobi to bisect him again, lengthwise this time.

Ok, well we may be able to bury this one... Clone Wars head writer Matt M. answered on Twitter that this Clovis arc is gonna be in Season 6. We'll have to see if this is official or if it's still preliminary:

I wonder if Clovis will be our Season 6 premiere then?

With any luck, Sidious will put that outmoded upstart in his place, and that'll be the end for him.

Maul doesn't deserve anything more than an offscreen death.

You're all just jealous that Maul is actually able to get things done. Maybe we should give Grievous organic legs?

Aside from a couple quick shots of an atmospheric battle on Cato Neimoidia, Thorn and Embo chasing Clovanime, I don't really know anything about the arc. Too soon for me to tell if I'd want it as a premiere. It fell to the wayside this season, but there could be some pretty badass stuff next season that would serve as a better season opener. But I wouldn't know, since nothing is really known about next season aside from vague comments from Filoni.

Given where the next episode is going, picking up that plot early on in S6 with the rumored Talzin content, might be a better opener to address how that all fits together sooner rather than later.

There were also vague comments (not confirmed specifically for S6, and perhaps might not come til S7) that we might learn more about the ancient Sith, see Tusken Raiders again, and explore Dooku more in depth (with it being implied that his history as a Jedi will come into play).

Any of that might be better than Clovis for an opener.

It is starting to appear that way...

But I am happy that they are, at least, gonna release it at some point.

Wasn't the arc developed for S4, but got pushed back to S5?

So nice of him to tell us after nobody aside from Brent Friedman has been kind enough enlighten us on anything.

It seems that the Clovis trilogy holds the production numbers: 4.19, 4.20, 4.21, so they were produced right after Onderon, which was where the arc originally was scheduled to take place.

The newest in production we've seen is the D-squad arc, which comprises 5.04-5.07.

Hmmm..... Curious! I hope that the Clovis arc does not look that out of place since the animation has even advanced quite a lot even in half a season.

I'm more curious as to where it'll take place in the timeline. Will it take place after Onderon where intended or after this season?

The bits we saw from the trailers were quite beautiful though, so I imagine it'll hold up. Though the animation does improve at an alarming rate.

Can we all just take a minute to remember that this is what we're getting upset over:

"Padmé is called upon by an old friend to help uncover corruption in the Banking Clan."

    :p

True, that's not a good word for TCW to use. But I honestly like Padme as a character, seeing her with Bail is always great.

    Plus, WHAT'S IN THE VAULT?!?
