    Why can't the government allow these companies to hit rock bottom?

    The CEO of GM (I think) took his private jet to Washington to ask for their cut of the money. o_O

    It escapes and infuriates me. :mad:

    Yeah, I remember seeing something like "if your companies are in crisis, I recommend you sell your private jets in place and take a bus back. ... Let the record show no-one volunteered." :p

    Let them file for Chapter 11. If they don't then they still have the problems they have now and will be back in a few months to beg for more. Chapter 11 will allow them to reorganize and get out from underneath the union contracts that are drowning them.
