Yes, true, not really a son of a planet of suns (or, "Sun of Sons") as it stands in the current PT.

Yeah, Anakin lived on Tatooine ~6 years. Luke lived on Tattoine ~19 years, 3 times as long!

Let's not forget Lucas' quote from 2008, "The movies were the story of Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker, and when Luke saves the galaxy and redeems his father, that's where that story ends."

According to GL Luke is the one that does the saving.

Pablo Hidalgo has debunked the belief that someone is shouting "Son of the Suns!" at the celebrations of either TPM or ROTS. Having acquired the original recording of the voice performers (actually sound technicians) used for both of those scenes, Hidalgo has determined that someone is yelling a phrase in Huttese, roughly "Gi Shatta Gasha".

By following the link above you can hear all three recordings: the end celebrations of TPM and ROTJ, and the unmixed voice performance by the sound techs.

Hidalgo has also explained that this idea was an early one used only in one draft of Star Wars (the second) and discarded thereafter. It appears to have no relevance to the current continuity of the Saga.
