I might attempt this next one, but song parodies are NOT my strong suit.

It was much harder than I expected, but I managed to combine two of my favorite things...Star Wars and Heavy Metal. Here's one of Iron Maiden's most popular tunes "Run to the Hills", modified into "Run From the Clones" for the challenge. The music is HERE if anybody wants to sing along.

White clad clones from Kamino;
War is all they?ve ever known.
On Geonosis, they saved our lives.
Without their guns, we?d all have died.

Fought clankers hard, they fought them well,
In their space planes, they gave droids hell
Beginning of the end turned tragedy,
When my clone troopers turned on me.

Climbing the cliff face on Utapau?s hills,
Boga climbs tricky ascent,
Most trusted general blasted me down

Treachery impossible, how can this be
How could this happen, why didn?t we see?

My first song parody ever, please don't kill me because it IS bad. Anyway, my version of John Rich's "Shuttin' Detroit Down". My title it Shootin' Jedi Down. Okay, here we go...

The troopers did the shootin? but Palpy was to blame.

Jett Lucas died protecting Bail who went back to his wife.
Now he sits in shame,

This is a great idea. I've read the entries to the challenges so far, and they are awesome.

Here's my response for the Order 66 challenge. It's a (very silly) parody of the song "Love Potion Number 9" originally by (I think) the Clovers, but covered by quite a few other bands.

Order 66

My name is Palpatine ? I am da man
I am the master of a cunning plan
To fix those Jedi's annoying tricks.
I'm gonna call it ? Order 66.

It's gonna truly be a dream come true
They'll never guess that they are in the poo
Until the moment when I flick that switch
And murmur sweetly ? Order 66

Then we can party to Sithly excess
And no-one can tell us to clean up the mess
Coz once we're all free of Yoda and Mace
We'll have some fun, we'll rock all night, I'll paint my face

I'll pick some babe to be my Emperor's Hand
And everything will go as I have planned
Isard will send me some holopics
So we can relive ? Order 66
