"Sorry to keep you waiting." - Kid Icarus: Uprising [3DS]

Nintendo just announced this as being Project Sora for the 3DS.

I think we knew that, after Brawl, Pitt was likely to finally get another game after all these decades, but it's an awesome relief to have it official, and a healthy surprise that it'll be the flagship launch title for a new system.

Looks to have some awesome flight levels (that fortress with the multiple laser beam defenses in particular) and some sweet looking bosses. The style, flow and colors almost remind me of Nights to a degree.

Seems to have a 5 min limit to flight, otherwise your wings burn up- neat way of working in the mythology.

 

You know, watching the trailer again- there are times when you forget it's a portable game. Most impressive.
