It is from 96 so doubt it will be on a Marvel cover, looks more like it was some kind of private project by him.

I'm still so disappointed and annoyed by what we seem to be getting in regard to Luke in episode VII. . Why did the filmmakers think that would be a good idea?

Well, I guess that's true, as we haven't seen the film yet. But those who shared the information certainly seem to think it's a done deal. I would definitely be happy if they were proven wrong!

Well, now that you have rediscovered the thread, don't be a stranger! This poor thread can use some new life. Lots of the old guard seem to be missing. . I guess with the rumors about episode VII being so bad, maybe a lot of folks have just given up. I'm pretty close to that myself.

Sadly, I even gave a lot of my SW books to the library last week, though I kept my favorites. It's really sad that TTT and VotF aren't canon anymore.

I mean, that's good for your library and all, but giving books away just because they aren't "canon" anymore is only slightly less absurd than destroying them.

that Luke will only appear at the end of the film and won't really do anything in the film, plus that rumor about what happens in the flashback, plus that Luke likely has no kid

still really bothers me. There doesn't seem to be anything for me to look forward to about this new film. I'm not even sure that I'm going to o like the new big three.

JB, I would really like to talk about the new Luke book. Unfortunately, I haven't started to read it yet, but why don't you get the discussion rolling anyway? What did you like best and least about the bool? Did you like that it was told in first person by Luke? What did you think of Luke's characterization in the book? Did he get a lot of action scenes?

Does anyone know where Matt Skywalker is? Haven't seen him around the boards since I started posting again. Hope he's okay!
