sound types and quality in fanfilms

    Do most of you keep your sound bytes in your films in the wav format or compress them to mp3. It seems that when I am placing my music, which is in wav format,into my timeline it seems to make the video lag to the point of unsyncing the dialogue.

    Depends, I use Premiere and my advice is to NEVER USE MP3's. Premiere doesn't handle them very well. Plus, .wav is easier to use in Premiere, and you can export to it too.
